![]() my son, age 19, was able to enter the primary pool area for the last 2 yrs. I booked 2 GO rooms for 3 nights in July for 5 adults. The true test of a hotel is what occurs when things go wrong, and the Flamingo massively failed. Unfortunately, this will be my last time booking rooms here due to the very poor customer service I received. This was my 3rd stay at the Flamingo what brought me back to this hotel was its central location on the strip, outstanding party pool, and affordability for these amenities. Come early to get a spot, otherwise it's like a parking lot, cruising around looking for a vacant spot!! I did enjoy the PetStay experience, but I think I will try the Rio next time. The pool was crowded, but the drinks were plentiful and cheep if you didn't mind getting them yourself (waitresses where way too busy). Fortunately I get up a few times at night and was able to trip it. Eventually I figured out it was on a motion sensor! If no one is in the room (or if you are asleep), it will go up to 76 before it comes on. ![]() It seemed to be working, and I turned it down to 71. Comfy bed, veiw of the pools, shower AND tub, plus TV in the bathroom. They were dropped off in the room within the hour. I had to remind her I had brought a dog, and she had to ask a manager for the paperwork! No promised goodies in the room either, so I asked at the desk the next day. The desk clerk seemed mystified by the PetStay thing. I was not even asked for my card (I had my paper confirmation with me), as I had made the reservation through Total Rewards. I had to walk past this massive line of people to find it, it was so much shorter. There is a seperate check-in line that is much faster. Be sure to join Total Rewards online (you get offers for better rates) before you book your room. Every morning we took the dog to Silverado Park (down by the South Point) to walk and meet local dogs. The potty area is tiny, but gets the job done. We would have had to walk him through the lobby (chaos) every time we took him out otherwise. I'm glad I did, since it turned out to be the closest to parking and the potty area (which is right next to the valet). From previous posts I had reserved a GO petstay room. We were given two really nice dog bowls, two bags of organic treats, a roll of potty bags in a branded holder and a "pet in room" hang tag. It was $50 a night extra (about the same as boarding). I have always had to stay at funky off strip hotels with my dog in the past, so when I read that the Ceasar's properties had stared a program I went for it. ![]() Every morning we took the dog to Silverado Park (down by the South Point) to walk and meet local dogs.īe sure to join Total Rewards online (you get offers for better rates) before you book your room. ![]() ![]() ![]()
